Private life insurer, HDFC Life Insurance has reported a 2 percent, year-on-year, increase in its standalone net profit at 318 crore rupees in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal.
 
For the financial year 2020-21, the HDFC Life's net profit grew 5 percent, to 1,360 crore rupees.
 
During the year, it sold about 9.8 lakh new individual policies, registering a year-on-year growth of 10 percent.
