With the state healthcare system affected severely as a result of five day long strike by the resident doctors, the Bombay high court warned the striking doctors to resume work earliest by tomorrow morning. A division bench of Chief Justice Manjula Chellur and Justice G S Kulkarni today reprimanded the member doctors of Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) to be ready to face government's punitive action if they fail to join work.<br/> <br/>AIR Correspondent reports, Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors today submitted an affidavit in the Bombay High court that the association has no objection if the government takes action against its member doctors who fail to join duty by tomorrow. It also informed the high court that it had tried to pursued its member doctors to join the work since yesterday.<br/><br/>The High has taken the serious note of adamant stand by the protesting doctors even after the state Government and the high court assured them of adequate security. Slamming the doctors on their obstinate stand the high court bench today stated that if the doctors continue their strike then the respective hospital management can initiate action against them and terminate their services.
