The Allahabad High Court will pass order today on a PIL seeking directions for disqualifying Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Azam Khan to be an MLA and restraining him from holding Minister's charge for allegedly holding 'dual office of profit'. <br/><br/>Petitioner's counsel alleged that Azam, being an MLA and cabinet minister, can't be appointed as Chairman of UP Jal Nigam as it comes under the purview of holding 'dual office of Profit'. This allegation was refuted by the state government which said that Azam is not getting any renumeration or profit as Chairman of UP Jal Nigam and hence he did not come under'holding dual office of profit'.
