The Allahabad High Court on Thursday stayed the arrest of four congress leaders including Union Minister of State for Surface Transport Jitin Prasad and Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas RPN Singh in connection with an FIR lodged against them at Allahabad for allegedly beating a student.A division bench of the court passed the order on a petition filed by the leaders seeking quashing of the FIR and arrest stay. The court has said that investigation on the FIR will continue. The court has fixed 19th of next month for the next hearing.
