The Allahabad High court has stayed the arrest of Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh in connection with a FIR field against him at Kanpur alleging that he was involved in financial corruption.<br/><br/>The bench headed by justice Ravindra Singh and justice S K Tripathi passed this order today and asked Amar Singh to file his affidavit by 28th of January next year. Court restrained UP government for arresting on a writ petition filed by Amar Singh challenging the FIR lodged in Babupurwa police station in Kanpur by Shivakant Tripathi on 15th October under Indian penal code and Prevention of corruption act.<br/><br/>Earlier the SP leader had also blamed the FIR lodged against him on the behest of UP chief Minister<br/>
