In Uttar Pradesh, the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court on Tuesday ordered a CBI probe into the alleged scam in the implementation of National Rural Health Mission, NRHM, across the state.A division bench of the court comprising Justice Pradeep Kant and Ritu Raj Awasthi, passed this order on a PIL seeking a CBI probe into the implementation of NRHM in the entire state.The court has directed the premier investigating agency to probe the matter and submit its report within four months. Earlier the court had reserved its order on the PIL.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the CBI is already probing the alleged scam in NRHM in only Lucknow district.The Allahabad High Court had directed the CBI on July 27 in this regard.The Court had also asked the investigating agency to probe the murder of the two CMOs.The CBI had recently carried out searches at 10 places in Lucknow, including the offices of a non-government organisation in connection with alleged scam in the funds allotted to the NGOs under NRHM for blindness control.
