The Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued notices to two Haryana Ministers- Sat Pal Sangwan and Rao Narender Singh besides Chief Parliamentary Secretary Vinod Bhayana in the defection case by Haryana Janhit Congress. The High Court was hearing Contempt of Court petition as these MLAs have not resigned from their posts despite the Court's ruling on 20th December that five MLAs including the two Ministers and Chief Parliamentary Secretary would not hold any office till a decision was taken by the Speaker on the disqualification petitions against them. Now the Court would hear the case on January 11. Haryana Janhit Congress Supremo Kuldeep Bishnoi on Monday filed a contempt petition against state Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Sharma and five MLAs for allegedly not implementing the orders of the Court.
