The Allahabad High Court today issued notices to Union Government, Uttar Pradesh Government and the UP Director General of Police to file their reply within four weeks on the Bhatta-Parsaul land acquisition and violence issue. AIR correspondent, reports, a high Court bench gave the instructions while hearing a Public Interest Litigation on the issue. The Next hearing is slated to take place in the second week of July. The recent land aqusition in Uttar Pradesh had turned violent in Bhatta Parasul leading to the loss of lives of four persons including two policemen.
