The Kerala High Court today allowed four more weeks to complete the investigation into the Ice-Cream Parlour case, based on the disclosures of Rouf, a relative of state Industries Minister Kunjalikutty.The Court posted the hearing of the case to the 30th of next month.The Advocate General told the court that the investigations are nearing completion and so far 129 witnesses have been examined and 104 documents seized. He said 15 more witnesses need to be examined in connection with the case.The Advocate General placed the case diary and the Action Taken Report in a sealed cover before the High Court.A Division Bench of the High Court comprising Acting Chief Justice Mrs. Manjula Chellur and Justice P R Ramachandra Menon was considering a petition filed by the Leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly V S Achuthanandan that attempts are being made to scuttle the investigations into the case.
