HC defers hearing on plea seeking whereabouts of Maoist leader Rama Krishna

The High Court in Hyderabad today adjourned the hearing for two weeks over a petition regarding whether Maoist leader Rama Krishna is in police custody or not. The bench asked the petitioner to file proof to state that Rama Krishna is in police custody. The advocate of the petitioner appealed for granting time for ten days to produce the evidence.<br/><br/>It may be recalled that Sirisha, wife of Rama Krishna alias RK filed a petition seeking the High Court to direct the police to produce the Maoist leader before the court.<br/>The Andhra Pradesh police filed an affidavit that the Maoist leader is not in their custody.
