The Delhi High Court asked the Centre and the city government to strictly deal with the contractors who fail to pay wages to workers at various Commonwealth Games sites in Delhi. The Court also asked both the governments and Delhi Legal Services Authorities (DLSA) to work in harmony to ensure that the construction workers at the Games sites get all the benefits, including minimum wages.Earlier, the court had directed the government to hold more camps at construction sites to sensitise the workers about their rights and welfare benefits provided to them by the administration.
