14 people have been killed and 119 injured in the twin blasts in Hyderabad yesterday. Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde who visited the blasts site this morning, told a Press conference that all efforts will be made to book the perpetrators of the blasts. Refusing to divulge further details he said the investigation has just begun and will take some more time to ascertain the facts.
He said it will not be possible to give more details as the Parliament is in session. He also visited some of the injured persons being treated at various hospitals.
Home Secretary R.K. Singh and Senior officials from NIA are also accompanying him. He reiterated that there was no specific input from intelligence about the incident. However, he said there is a general alert issued across the country.Director General Police Dinesh Reddy, said it was definitely the handiwork of a terrorist network.
National Investigating Agency has begun probe into the blasts.
