In Andhra Pradesh, the investigations into the Hyderabad twin blasts have picked up momentum. The special investigating teams have swung into action analysing the evidences and began interviewing eyewitnesses, businessmen and others. Hyberabad Police Commissioner Tirumala Rao said they have gathered enough evidences and two cases were registered at Malakpet and Saroornagar police stations. The police also announced reward to those who provide information that can lead to a breakthrough in the investigation.
Meanwhile the bodies of 16 deceased in the incident have been handed over to their relatives. Most of the victims including a woman were youngsters and below 30 years of age. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has also announces an ex-gratia of one lakh rupees each to the families of deceased. Among the 117 persons who are being treated at various hospitals, the condition of five is stated to be still critical. AIR correspondent reports that several leaders and senior officials visited the blast site yesterday.
