In Assam, the body of the deceased music genius, Dada Saheb Phalke awardee Bhupen Hazarika will be cremated with full State Honour this afternoon. The State Government has made all arrangements to perform Hazarika’s last rites at the re-selected location at Gauhati University campus at Jhalukbari. According to official sources, the funeral procession will start at 2.00 in the afternoon from Judges Field where Hazarika’s body has been kept for public viewing. Hazarika, 86, breathed his last at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Memorial Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday following multi-organ failure.
