The Retd Justice Mukul Mudgal-led IPL probe committee has made it clear that they will not be travelling to England to interact with members of the Indian cricket team. A statement issued by the BCCI on behalf of the probe committee also clarified that the panel members did not speak to ICC chairman, N Srinivasan, or his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan, who was arrested by the Mumbai Police for alleged betting in the wake of the IPL spot-fixing scandal last year.It said,the Committee would like to clarify that neither the Committee nor its members interacted with Mr. Srinivasan or Mr. Meiyappan on 15-16th August 2014 in Chennai or at any other time during the second leg of its investigation ordered by the Supreme Court on 16th May, 2014.
