<span style="color: #222222;">Information Minister of Bangladesh Hasan Mahmud said that the governments of the two countries have finalised an agreement to telecast Bangladesh TV (BTV) in India. <br />''<br />''He said in Dhaka today that India and Bangladesh have also agreed to make Bangladesh Betar available in India. At the same time DD India will also be made available in Bangladesh. <br />''<br />''BTV and Bangladesh Betar are the government-owned public broadcasters of Bangladesh for television and Radio. <br />''<br />''A working agreement was signed on May 7 for the purpose of broadcasting BTV. Information and broadcasting minister of India Prakash Javadekar gave his approval for the agreement on June 19. <br />''<br />''Earlier on Wednesday, Mr Javadekar had announced that BTV will be available on Doordarshan Freedish in India. He had said that the move is in line with India's strategy to strengthen its ties with neighbouring countries and it will promote greater cultural exchange between the two countries. </span><br />
