Defence Minister AK Antony today said that the ceasefire violations by Pakistani Army at the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, are cause of serious concern.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of an Air Force function in Gurgaon, Haryana, he said, infiltration attempts and ceasefire violations have been increasing for the last one year.
Mr Antony said, the alert Indian Army is closely monitoring the entire border with Pakistan. The Defence minister said, he has directed the DGMO to stay in touch with his Pakistani counterpart.
When asked if more troops need to be deployed in Jammu and Kashmir, he said, there are enough troops in the state. He said, jawans and officers are capable and determined to face any situation.
