The ancient capital of the Pandavas, Hastinapur, will soon be on the country's railway map. Official sources said in Meerut that the Railway Minister, Mamata Banarjee has accepted the linkage proposal. The Railway Board Director has issued a survey order to Northern Railways for the 'Daurala-Mawana-Hastinapur-Bijnor' proposal. The demand was made by the the Meerut MP, Rajendra Aggarwal.
