In Haryana, major opposition parties Indian National Lok Dal and BJP has criticised the power tariff hike in the state. The hike of 10 to 15 percent was announced by the state Energy Regulatory Commission yesterday. Haryana BJP spokesman Anil Vij said it would put extra financial burden on the common man. The Commission hopes to generate addition revenue of 1795 crore rupees for Uttar and Dakshin two Bijli Vitran Nigams to improve their financial health.
