Haryana today won the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Memorial All India National Style Kabaddi Championship defeating Indian Railway by 33-27 in the final match. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal awarded one crore rupee first prize to the winner team and 50 lakh rupees award to the first runner up team. Addressing on this occasion, Chief Minister said, the government has launched national championships of traditional sports Kabaddi and Wrestling to promote these sports.
