In Haryana, State Election Commission, has issued programme for conducting general election of Panches and Sarpanches of Gram Panchayats Jakhal Mandi in district Fatehabad, Nissing (Rural) in district Karnal and Berwala (Nandla) in district Panchkula and by elections of Panches and Sarpanches in district Hisar and Fatehabad. Stating this at Chandigarh today, State Election Commissioner Mr Dharam Vir said that nominations could be filed from February 9 to February 11, 2012. Scrutiny would be done from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on February 13 and candidature could be withdrawn upto 4 p.m. by February 15. Polling, if required, would be conducted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Electronic Voting machines would be used for polling on February 26 and votes would be counted at the polling station immediately after the close of poll.
