Haryana Speaker suspends BJP, Lok Dal MLAs

In Haryana Assembly, all Indian National Lok Dal and BJP MLAs were suspended for the remaining period of the budget session by the Speaker. Mr. Harmohinder Singh Chatha on second day of the budget session.<br/> The House was adjourned thrice following anti government slogans over the adjournment motions regarding price hike of BJP and INLD.<br/><br/>Opposition leader Om Parkash Chautala termed the suspension of INLD and BJP as undemocratic. He alleged that the state government is not allowing opposition to raise public issues in the Vidhansabha as well as outside.<br/> The leader of the BJP legislature party Anil Vij said that their notice on adjournment motion was legal and speaker can accept or reject it but his decision to change it to calling attention motion was not as per rules of Assembly.<br/> Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda said that opposition was disrupting the proceedings of the house through premeditated strategy as the speaker had assured them to provide ample opportunity to raise public issues during discussion on address of the Governor and budget proposals. He said that opposition was unrelenting and hell bent to violate the decorum of the house.<br/>
