Haryana Government has sanctioned over 425 crore rupees for 98 villages to be developed as 'Adarsh Gaon'.Stating this at Chandigarh today, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Mr. Dharamvir Singh said that out of the total sanctioned amount, 420.38 crore rupees had already been released for undertaking various development works in these villages. These villages would be provided with the same facilities as are available in the urban areas of the State. The streets of these villages would be made of RCC with proper drainage facilities. Besides proper cleanliness, adequate supply of drinking water would also be ensured in these villages.He said that development works in 88 Adarsh Gaon had already been completed and development works in the rest of villages are underway.
