<br/>Haryana retained the Under-20 National Women's Hockey title by defeating Uttar Pradesh at finals held at Gachibowli stadium in Hyderabad. Haryana beat Uttar Pradesh by 1-0 at the finals. A total 21 teams from various states took part in the week-long championship played after a gap of three years. Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan gave away the trophy to Haryana at a ceremonial valedictory programme this evening.
