Haryana Police seizes total 2,179 kgs of narcotic substances during lockdown from across the State

Haryana Police have seized a total of 2,179 kgs of narcotic substances worth crores of rupees during the COVID-19 lockdown from across the State.<br />'' <br />''Giving the information, Director General of Police (DGP), Mr Manoj Yadavs informed that Police had a focused plan to keep a tab on all illegal and unlawful activities by enhancing night patrolling, intensive patrolling and organization of nakas. <br />''<br />''The restriction on public movement also gave police opportunities to make targeted efforts which proved a strong deterrent.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He said, in the two months of lockdown, 326 cases were registered under the provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and 506 accused arrested on the charges of possessing drugs between March 23 and May 23.</span><br />
