<span style="color: #222222;">In Haryana, the State Development and Panchayats Minister Devender Singh Babli said that 3,145 crore rupees will be released to  Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) in 2023-24. Mr Babli was addressing public representatives and villagers after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for development projects worth 9.21 crore in Rasoolpur village of Tohana constituency.  He urged the representatives of PRIs to expeditiously complete the ongoing development projects utilising 1,100 crore rupees allocated for the last quarter of the financial year 2022-23  because the completion of ongoing projects will ensure the release of additional development funds.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister emphasised the need to utilise the already allocated funds, including 800 crore rupees to Gram Panchayats,  165 crore rupees to Block Committees, and  110 crore rupees to Zila Parishad, to avoid delays in receiving future installments. He said that once these funds are fully utilised, the State government will release an additional more than 3,000 crore rupees to PRIs.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Highlighting the State government's commitment to rural development, the Minister shared plans to build 1,000 new parks and gymnasiums, open e-libraries in 1,000 – Gram panchayats, install street lights in 750 – Gram panchayats, and establish 780 women's culture centres and 468 well-equipped gymnasiums. He said that additionally, comprehensive solid waste management solutions are being implemented, including faecal sludge collection in 1,500 – Gram panchayats in the first phase. Sewage sludge treatment plants will also be established at block headquarters lacking facilities within a 20-kilometre radius. The Minister urged public representatives to understand their responsibilities towards the public and ensure transparent village development work.</span><br />
