Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday said at Chandigarh that the State government has decided to promote cultivation of Summer Moong in the State.He said that Government will distribute Certified Seed of Summer Moong on 50 per cent subsidy at an additional cost of 7 crore rupees in the larger interests of the farming community.Chief Minister said that cultivation of Summer Moong would be promoted under the plan scheme known as “scheme for promotion of crop diversification” and a target has been set to cover 70,000 hectare of area during 2011-12 Rabi under Summer Moong.
