Haryana government has decided to implement a 2500 crore rupees scheme Rajiv Gandhi Urban Development Mission, in the state and a target has been set to spend 500 croe rupees, a year under the scheme.Stating this at Chandigarh, Haryana Chief Parliamentary Secretary for Local Bodies Sharda Rathore said 200 crore rupees will be spent during this year on water supply and drainage and 100 crore rupees on providing affordable houses under this scheme. She said that 200 crore rupees will be spent for providing basic amenities in the cities. She said that this scheme would not be implemented in the area, where works are already in progress under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewable Mission
