Haryana Government has decided to appoint nodal officers in each Department both at headquarters and district level to make the public redressal system more effective. Chief Secretary, Mrs Urvashi Gulati has issued a letter to this effect, which is addressed to all Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners in the State.<br/><br/>The letter states that these nodal officers will be responsible in getting the grievances disposed off expeditiously by attending to and responding to the incoming grievances from the public through e-mails, by post, in person or through the public representatives and Government of India. The designated nodal officers will also act as coordinating officers within the Department.
