Haryana Government has set up four awards to honour progressive village panchayats for their achievements in water conservation. Haryana Public Health Engineering Minister Kiran Choudhry said at chandigarh today the award will range from 2000 rupees to 50 thousand depending on the population. It will be one time untied grant.She said a campaign will be launched to make children aware of water conservation from an early age.
