Haryana government has raised the upper age limit from 40 years to 45 years for entry into its service to unmarried women residents of the state. A notification to this effect has been issued by the state government. The upper age limit for entry into government service for widows, women legally separated from their husband, divorced women and women deserted by their husbands is already 45 years.
