Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia on Wednesday conferred annual "Bhim Awards" on outstanding sports persons of the state. Appreciating the sports policy of the state he said that till now 137 sportpersons have been hononured with Bhim Award.Those who received the "Award" today include Boxer from Bhiwani jeetender kumar, wrestler from Karnal Nirmala Devi, atheletic player shotputter from Gurgaon Om Parkash, Roller Skating player from Faridabad Dhruv Gautam and Yashdeep kaur of Sirsa and paralympic athete from Sonepat Mr Rajesh Kumar. Each awardee was honoured with two lakh rupees cash, idol of Bhim, appreciation certificate, a blazer,necktie and scarf.Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who presided over the function said that the Bhim Awards inspire the players.
