Haryana :Flood situation in Sirsa district continues to be grim

<br/>In Haryana the flood situation in Sirsa district continues to be grim. The residents of worse affected villages Nejadela Kalan, Nejadela Khurd, Farwai, Budhabhana, Mallenwala and Parihar in Sirsa block of the district are staying in tents put on temporary bunds outside their villages. Some of the male members in villages like Farwai Kalan are sitting on the roofs with necessary household goods, waiting for water level to recede. <br/><br/>The water from Ghaghar River has again entered Ferozabad in Rania block of the district. According to Dy. Commissioner Rajani Kaandha, in Rania the situation is alarming and an alert has been sounded. Army has been called in the Rania block and Jawans along with Administration are trying to control the situation. <br/><br/>The President of Sri Baba Tara Charitable Trust Gobind Kanda, who is also brother of State Home Minister Gopal Danda told this correspondent that the relief material is being supplied in Farwai Kalan, Farwai Khurd, Panihari and other affected villages. He said that rising level of water in Rangoi Nullah posed thread of flood in nearby villages.
