In Haryana, the farmers of Asalwas village in Rewari district who were opposing land acquisition, have called off their agitation after receiving assurance of a dialogue with Chief Minister and release of the five protesters. Incidents of violent protests were reported from the area on Sunday. Kisan Sangharsh Samiti President Ram Kishan Mehalwal said that the Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda has called them for talks at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi tomorrow.
