Haryana CM Honors Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Parakram Diwas, Highlights Living Azad Hind Fauj Soldiers

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal paid homage to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in a programme at Rohtak district on the occasion of Parakram Diwas.<br />''<br />''Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said, Netaji is not just a name but the story of the country's independence. He said, therefore the youth should draw inspiration from Netaji's life for serving the nation. The Chief Minister said, Netaji not only ignited the flame of independence but instilled confidence in people that freedom could be attained. He said, initiating a movement was not easy, but Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose formed the Azad Hind Fauj. Chief Minister Manohar Lal said, it is an honour that thousands of youth from the Haryana region were also recruited into the Azad Hind Fauj.<br />''<br />''The Chief Minister praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing about systematic changes and working towards awakening society. He highlighted that the government's role is not just to construct basic infrastructure like roads, schools, and hospitals but also to contribute to the construction of society.<br />''<br />''The Chief Minister shared that three soldiers of the Azad Hind Fauj,  resident of village Burthala in  105 year old Hari Singh (105) and a resident of Kosli 102 year old Mangal Singh in Rewari district and a resident of village Mandi in Mahendragarh district 98 year old Jai Prakash are still alive.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He said that the Deputy Commissioners were directed to honor these soldiers.</span><br />
