Vikas Barala, son of Haryana BJP chief, and another accused Ashish Kumar were today arrested over charges of attempt to abduction and stalking of a 29-year-old woman in Chandigarh on Friday night. <br/><br/><br/>Chandigarh Director General of Police Tajender Singh Luthra told media persons that the arrests were made on the basis of new findings in the last 5 days of investigation. <br/><br/>He said, charges of attempt to abduct under relevant sections of the IPC have been added to the FIR registered against the two. He said that both were summoned by the police to join investigation today after collecting CCTV footage. <br/><br/>The police had intercepted the two after girl's complaint and brought them to the police station on Saturday but they were bailed out soon afterwards.

Vikas Barala, son of Haryana BJP chief, and another accused Ashish Kumar were arrested in connection with the alleged stalking case filed against him by a 29-year-old woman in Chandigarh. <br/><br/>Chandigarh Director General of Police Tajender Singh Luthra confirmed the arrest of Vikas and his friend Ashish in the case. <br/><br/>He said, sections 365 and 511 of the IPC have been added to the FIR and both accused will be produced before a court tomorrow. Earlier, the accused were booked under Section 354-d of the IPC and 185 of the Motor Vehicle Act. <br/><br/>They were arrested after the woman accused them of chasing her car and trying to kidnap her on Friday night but were later granted bail.
