He said that this initiative has benefited about 29 lakh households across the state.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #333333;">&nbsp;</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #333333;">He was addressing the villagers after inaugurating canal-based water works built at a cost of around 8 crore rupees in&nbsp; Bhodi, Gularwala, Rasulpur and Damkora villages of Tohana assembly constituency.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #333333;">&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #333333;">He also highlighted the ongoing efforts to ensure clean drinking water in every household and added that special measures are being taken for this purpose. The construction of new water treatment plants is aligned with the demand, and through the 'Har Ghar Nal Se Jal' scheme, nearly 30 lakh houses in about 6,803 villages across the state are being provided water through taps.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span></p>
