Haryana Government has banned the recycling of plastic carry bag with thickness less than 40 micron and size less than 12 into 13 inch. A notification to this effect has been issued by the Haryana Environment department as per provisions of Act. <br/><br/>The government has also banned the use of plastic made items like plates, cups, Spoons, straw etc in Thanesar and boundaries of Kurukshetra city, Pehowa city. Mansa Devi shrine. Panchkula. Sheetla Mata Mandir, Gurgaon, Public parks, forest reserves, National parks and Gram Panchayat Morni. atahe ban on these places is put up in view historical, religious and meterological importance of these areas. <br/><br/>As per notification strict action will be taken against those who will disobey the orders and producers will be be fined minimum 25000 rupees and maximum 50000 rupees on being caught producing these carry bags and if caught producing second time, the licence of the production house will be cancelled. The vendors and retalers will also be fined, if found using these carry bags.
