This project will help ensure uninterrupted power supply for the residents of Haryana.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">An official spokesperson said that Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal while chairing the meeting of High Powered Works Purchase Committee (HPWPC) at Chandigarh gave the approval for allocating the tender for the construction of the new 800-megawatt capacity Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant in Yamunanagar to Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) at a cost of 6,900 crore rupees.
