In 20-kilometre race walk in Commonwealth Games, Indian athlete Harminder Singh won bronze this morning while J Tallent and L Adamas from Australia have bagged Gold and silver respectively. In women category, Jo Jackson from England won Gold and C Tallent from Australia won silver while Wanjiru Grace Njue from Kenya bronze. AIR correspondent reports a total 16 participants were claimant for gold and host has entered Harminder Singh, Baljinder Singh, and Babu Bhai Panucha in this event. Harminder Singh was continuously among first three in the race with his Australian rivals J Tallent and L Adams. In women category a total of nine claimants for gold in this event and India have entered three athletes Sandhya Jolly Rani Yadav and Deepmala Devi.
