Haridwar rally: Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi terms State govt as fraudulent

In Uttarakhad, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his public meeting at Haridwar termed the state government as a fraudulent government. Addressing a mammoth election rally he said that the Union Government is committed to do away with black money and corruption. <br/>Meanwhile, in his election rallies Chief Minister Harish Rawat has put some questions to the PM, including imposition of President Rule in Uttarakhand, loss incurred as a result of demonetization, etc.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, addressing a huge election rally in Haridwar the Prime Minister stated that the Harish Rawat government has tarnished the image of devbhumi, a land of sacrifice. Shri Modi stated that he will realise the dream of Atal ji. He said that the Central Government's OROP and Char Dham All Weather Roads Project are a boon for Uttarakhand. On the other hand the Chief Minister Harish Rawat in his rallies has asked five questions from the PM. These include expressing sorry for imposition of President Rule in Uttarakhand; disclosing the name CM candidate of BJP, promise for giving a transparent government with the help of rebel Congress leaders, loss incurred as a result of demonetization, etc. Other BJP star campaigners Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari also addressed a number of rallies in the state. <br/><br/>Prominent campaigners of the Congress party CM Himachal Veerbhdra Singh, Former Union Minister Anand Sharma and MP Sachin Pilot were also present in the State.
