In Gujarat, the elaborate security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order situation following the detention of the leader of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti Hardik Patel. He was detained by police in Rajkot just before the commencement of third one day cricket match between Indian and South Africa this afternoon. <br/><br/>He was taken to SRP camp at Ghanteshwar near Rajkot and kept in house arrest. Several activists of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti had also been detained by police along with Hardik Patel. 22 year old Patidar leader had threatened to disrupt India- South Africa match to press his demand for reservation to Patidar community under the OBC quota. Earlier following the threat, the Rajkot district administration has already banned mobile internet services in the district till tomorrow morning to check the rumors and maintain law and order situation. <br/><br/>Our Ahmedabad correspondent reports that security measures have been tighten in Ahmedabad and Surat following apprehension of pretest against the detention of Patidar leader Hardik Patel. Meanwhile, India- South Africa match at Rajkot is in progress without any disturbance amid tight security arrangements.
