Hardcore Maoist arrested in Jharkhand

In Jharkhand, the Police have arrested a Maoist near Ranchi and recovered explosives from him. In another incident, huge quantities of detonators have been recovered at the Jamtara railway station, although the three persons carrying those detonators managed to escape. A hardcore Maoist Budhram Munda has been arrested from Mulki hills under Tamar area, some 32 km away from Ranchi. Police has recovered four liquid bombs, nine electronic bombs and four booster bombs from the arrested Maoist. The arrest was made on the basis of information provided by another hardcore naxal arrested three days ago from Maharashtra. In another incident, three persons, traveling by Patliputra Express train and carrying three boxes of detonators, managed to escape. When challenged by the Tiger mobile force at Jamtara Railway station, the three fled, leaving 5500 detonators behind in the trunk. The Police have launched a manhunt to arrest the suspects.
