The event was organised by Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses.<br />''<br />''Highlighting the progress the drive has attained in the last few years, Mr Lal added that in August 2019, out of about 19 crore 35 lakh rural households, only three crore 23 lakh had access to tap water, but today over 11 crore rural households have tap water supply in their households.<br />''<br />''He said, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a call that not a single household should be left out of this noble Mission, the scheme is being implemented in a very democratic manner to achieve 100 per cent saturation of tap water connection without any discrimination whether it is a tribal area or a remote forest area.</span><br />
