The condition of Fazl Haque Qureshi, a senior leader of moderate faction of Hurriyat Conference, continues to be critical and he is on a ventilator. Mr. Qureshi was attacked by unidentified assailants when he was coming out of a Mosque in Soura, Srinagar. Hospital sources say, he has no bullet injuries, but a deep wound in the head. Our correspondent reports that the attack on the moderate leader seems to be a reaction against the latest quiet talks between Centre and moderate faction of Hurriyat Conference.
