Mohammad Hamid Ansari today took oath of office for the second term as the Vice-President. President Pranab Mukherjee administered the oath of office to him at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Former diplomat and the UPA candidate, 75-year-old Ansari defeated his NDA rival Jaswant Singh in the Vice-Presidential election held on August 7.
