Vice President Hamid Ansari has assured Indian diaspora that New Delhi will soon fulfill their long cherish demands of opening a separate high commissioner office in Rwanda and start a direct flight between these two countries. <br/><br/>He was addressing the Indian community in Kigali, capital city of Rwanda. AIR correspondent reports that after arriving at the Kigali International Airport at Rwanda on Sunday, Vice President was accorded a red carpet reception by the host government. <br/><br/>He was received by president of senate Bernard Makuza. On the first day of his official engagements, the Vice President will first pay homage at the Genocide Memorial in Kigali. <br/><br/>After that, he will meet president of senate and then the President of Rwanda Paul Kagame at his presidential palace. Shri Ansari will also take part in business forum meeting in the evening. <br/><br/>India – Rwanda relations are marked by cordiality, convergence of views on cooperation on major international issues and increasing trend in bilateral trade and investments, greater people-to-people contacts and a deep sense of mutual respect.<br/>
