The Chairman of Narayana Health City and well known Cardiac surgeon Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty has said that half the battle against Covid pandemic will be won if half of the population in India is vaccinated. Dr. Devi Shetty was speaking after receiving the vaccine in Bengaluru yesterday. He asked all those receiving the vaccine to show a V sign to denote victory over the virus.<br />”&nbsp;<br />”<span style="color: #222222;">Dr. Devi Shetty pointed out that we do not have enough doctors, nurses, hospitals but still have managed to contain the spread of virus in comparison to other countries where the second wave is detected. He said that if nurses involved in the vaccination drive work four hours extra every day then the drive can be completed in two months. Advising caution, Dr. Devi Shetty said that only after the second dosage of the vaccine, a person is protected from Covid infection.</span><br />
