Half a million people of Afghan have no access of basic health services: WHO

The World Health Organisation (WHO) says about half a million people of Afghanistan, mostly from the southern part, have no access to basic health services due to continued instability and conflicts. <br/><br/>At a press conference in Kabul today, WHO's country representative Peter Graaff emphasized for an intensified response to Afghanistan's humanitarian health challenges. He asserted that WHO and Afghan public health ministry are concerned about the health conditions in the country. <br/><br/>Mr. Peter Graaff said mobile health teams with qualified staff are useful in the country especially in areas with geographic problems and conflicts.
