The Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd has recorded the highest ever turnover of 15,480 crore rupees,(provisional) for the financial year 2014-15. In 2013-14 it was 15,128 crore rupees. HAL Chairman and Managing Director T Suvarna Raju said that the performance is in line with the MoU signed with the Ministry of Defence and HAL expects excellent rating for 2014-15. The operating profit for the year was 1,560 crore rupees against 1,551 crore rupees in 2013-14.He said that as part of Design and Development activities, 384 flight have been completed so far and the HAL Board has approved production of 4th technology demonstrator to expedite the process of Initial Operational Clearance of Light Combat Helicopter.
